Colors:
Black Black & Gold with Holofoil Black Perch Clown Darkeye Hey Cisco Lighteye Rusty
How it Works:
The Hardhead is what the name implies - a hard head with a rubber tail. The tail can be replaced on the water. Why replace the whole lure when a fish bites the tail off. Just screw on a new one! On the hard head, there is a screw insert on the front and one near the back. The insert is a standard 6/32 thread that matches most weight systems (weights not included).
On a straight retrieve, the lure has a belly wobble along with the tail movement. It has the same wobble as the lure sinks. It sinks about 1 foot per second. It can be made to sink faster by adding weight to the rear. It can be made to sink nose down by adding weight to the front. For very aggressive action, add weight to the front. Action can be changed by screwing the tail so it points down causing it to sink nose down instead of level.
